New in Lnki: Analytics, Campaigns & UTM, and bulk import

Three new sections in the dashboard, plus multiple tags per link and QR codes you can go back and edit.

This release adds three sections to the dashboard and changes two things you already use. Everything below is live in your workspace now.

Analytics

Analytics in the sidebar now opens a full reporting page. The overview shows Clicks, Unique visitors, Filtered out and Active links for the period you pick, each compared with the period before. Four more tabs go deeper: Traffic for timing, Audience for devices and locations, Sources for where clicks came from, and Links for per-link results.

The numbers count people only. Bots, link previews and prefetches still redirect, but they are reported under Filtered out rather than mixed into your clicks. How Lnki counts a click has the details.

Campaigns & UTM

Campaigns & UTM sits under Analytics in the sidebar. Create a campaign, pick the channels you will share it on, and you get one tagged short link per channel. The page then reports clicks by campaign and by channel, with separate tabs for the builder, your campaigns, your channels, the individual UTM parameters and every tagged link.

If you have been adding utm_source by hand, UTM parameters explained is a good place to start, and the campaign links tutorial shows the builder.

Imports takes a list of URLs and creates the links for you. There are three ways in: paste from the clipboard, upload a CSV, or upload an Excel file. The import runs in three steps, Upload, Map columns and Review & import, so you can check what each column means and fix problem rows before anything is created.

One import can hold up to 500 rows on the trial plan, 2,000 on Starter, 5,000 on Pro and 10,000 on Business. The links are created in the background, so a large file does not tie up the page. See import links in bulk.

A link or a QR code can now carry up to ten tags instead of one. The tag filter on My Links and QR Codes accepts several tags at once and lets you choose whether a result must match any of them or all of them.

QR codes you can edit

A QR code is now stored as its design, not as a finished image. Open an existing code and you land back on the designer with every choice in place: pattern, eye and corner style, colours, margin, logo and label. Change what you need and save. The code still points at the same short link, so anything already printed keeps working.
